CGI’s founding Principal and Principal Engineer, Michael Cox PE, PP, has been providing civil and environmental engineering services throughout Central and South Florida for the past 10 years and has continuously demonstrated a sensitivity and commitment to the needs and expectations of clients, such as the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Over Michael’s 45 year career he has completed more than 120 civil works projects including investigations studies , design, and construction-related assignments in the states of Florida, New Jersey and New York for various Federal, State, County and Municipal Government agencies, private water utility purveyors and other private sector corporations.
CGI’s leadership in engineering is based on the technical, scientific, and management expertise of our Principal who maintains active memberships and leadership roles in professional and academic associations to keep abreast of current water resource, geotechnical and civil engineering and management practices as well as emerging technologies.
CGI along with its teaming partners, stands ready to provide immediate response to the needs of infrastructure improvement projects in the fields of civil , hydraulics, hydrology, water resources, geotechnical, structural, dams, levees, bridges, environmental, and construction engineering.
